Our barn originally housed the agricutral equipment used to tend the vines that were once part of the cognac estate. It's a traditional Charentaise old stone barn with a huge opening at the north end and other doors, windows and nest boxes along the side.  We completely renovated the structure and took advantage of the existing opening to install a glass wall; floor to ceiling. 

 

The barn is now a one bedroom luxury holiday venue.  Modern design over 2 floor conversion with spectacular mirrored glass front wall. Relax in bed on the mezzanine level and enjoy the view across the vineyards.  Light and airy, a place to unwind and relax at your own pace. We hope the Barn will appeal to lovers of the modern, minimalist style: Modern lounge, German kitchen, spiral stairs, spacious bedroom with exposed beams and kingsized bed (with tempur mattress), modern wet-room with rain shower, Apple iMac with Bose sound system (for DVD, CD and Music) and Wifi, wooden decking with table, chairs and BBQ for outdoor dining, and the same level of style and quality as our cottage. Created just for a couple and set amongst the Cognac vines in the nouvelle-aquitane region of France
